IN OTHER WORDS

What more can be said about one of pro surfing’s most iconic figures boasting a stellar Foster’s ASP World Tour career which spans way back to 1983 where from the age of 15 to now 41 he has redefined high performance surfing for at least two generations. In the early years on tour, Occy was a certain top-five finisher, but after a few years Occy embattled personal demons and dropped off the tour. The tenacious Australian then launched a comeback in the late '90s which saw the fit and focused Occy claim his first world title in 1999 at age 33. After announcing retirement in 2005 Occy re announced that he would stay on in 2006 and once again turned the world on its ear after a stunning performance at the Rip Curl Pro at Bells Beach Australia. Back again in 2007 the mighty “Raging Bull” will always be hard to contain.
